Natural Pet Shampoo Bar
Are you washing your Pet with a shampoo bar?
It is an easy way to fight fleas and ticks and smelly dog odor. Best of all, no bottles which means less waste, all natural ingredients, nothing artificial and gentle on your pet skin.
Bathing your pet with a natural shampoo bar is like a day at the spa for your dog.
I have the privilege of owning two tri-color Dotson's… Doogie is a long hair and Joe Joe short hair. Different as day and night when it comes to bath time.
My Pet Shampoo bar base formula was created to be cleansing, Yet gentle on my girl's sensitive skin. I love that Castor oil Conditions their skin and provide a beautiful shine to their fur. The essential oils were specially chosen to rid our smelly pooch of fleas, ticks and doggy odor. The ratio of essential oil added is not meant to overpower or offend our furry friends, but to rid pests, itchy skin and a foul odor…
- Lavender - Soothing and calming to skin and nerves.
- Lemongrass - Deodorizing. Mosquitoes, flea, and tick Repellent.
- Peppermint- fleas hate it, refreshing and deodorizing
- Citronella - Helps keep skin clean and healthy. Bugs hate it.
Our shampoo bar allows me to easily wash my wiggly pet's underbelly without the hassle of a bottle or wasting liquid shampoo. It is very Simple to use. Wet bar, and rub on lathering, rinse, and repeat if needed.

How to use a Natural bar of Pet shampoo?
You may be wondering. Okay, Ms. Jenny. I like the idea of a pet shampoo bar but how do I use it? Well, I'm glad you asked.
It's really very simple and I'll use Doogie's bath time for an example, because Joe Joe hates bath time and even the word bath makes her run for cover.
Doogie like warm bath water so…
- First thing… is to run some warm water in her bathing tub.
- Gently I placed the doogie in the water and wet her Fur.
- Then I Rub the bar of Miss Jenny's Pet Shampoo bar on her back 5-6 times to work up a good lather.
- The bar allows me to rub it on her underbelly with ease, for better lather and coverage in her small, hard to get places, where a bottle of liquid soap is cumbersome.
- Now then I rub her fur, adding more water if needed or even another rub or two of the bar soap. My goal here is to work up a nice rich bubbly llather. To wash her in.
- Then I Gently rinse away the soap and all the bubbles. Lift her into a clean towel, l dry her fur and give treats. Enjoying a nice clean dog… who will hop down and go find the nearest spot of Georgia's famous red clay to happily roll in. So, we repeat these steps often…
- I store my girls shampoo bar on a dry dish in the washroom so it can dry between uses. Remember a Dry bar of soap will last longer.
