Georgia on your mind?

Introducing one-of-a-kind   "Hillbilly Porcelain" Souvenir magnets!

We have three collections to choose from Scripture, Inspiration, and Georgia.

The clay souvenirs began deep inside the north Georgia mountains.

A local gentleman discovered the clay while grading the property next door, blessing us with a mountain of it for creative clay works.

The raw clay goes through a rigorous process of cleaning and conditioning before it can be made into a piece worthy of firing.  There is less waste, less energy is consumed, however this natural process involves a tremendous amount of waiting and patience.

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. -Lao Tzu

It was during my research and struggle to understand the wisdom found in this traditional process that employs nature and the elements to transform the clay, I learned a lesson that significantly changed my perspective in my creative journey.

Peace is found in the process, not the perfection of the piece.

My stress often comes from rushing or resisting nature's process.  While culture says to live quickly, fast, and in a hurry, I am learning that time and patience, acceptance and understanding open the path to fully appreciating and even celebrating the natural process of transformation.

“He has made everything beautiful in his time:” Ecclesiastes 3:11
