Once the snow falls, the autumn leaves are gone forever. Or are they?

We created these unique leaf soap dishes with a red oak leaf collected near our home and wood ashes from our families’ winter fires. We press the leaf into our local Mountain clay, and when it burns away, it leaves behind the unique imprint of the leaf. No two dishes are alike, just like no two leaves are alike.
